Dr. Ana Doris Ortiz, DVM, CVA
A second-generation veterinarian, Dr. Ortiz (known to most as Dr. O) developed a passion for the care and welfare of all animals at an early age, as both of her parents were licensed veterinarians in Puerto Rico. Dr. Ortiz completed her undergraduate studies at Syracuse University in 1991 and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Tuskegee University in 1995. She finished her internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Tennessee in 1996 and started practicing veterinary medicine the same year.
In 2001 she founded Pet Paradise Animals Hospital to provide veterinary and boarding services to Apopka, Rock Springs, Altamonte Springs, Longwood and Hunt Club areas.
In 2014 she completed her certification as Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) at the Chi Institute in Gainesville, Florida.
In addition to general practice, Dr. Ortiz has worked as alternate staff at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic of Central Florida. Altogether, Dr. Ortiz brings more than 25 years of veterinarian experience with clinical strengths in thorough diagnostic work-ups, dermatology, surgery and alternative medicine. On a personal level, she presents a personable, compassionate demeanor while practicing high-quality medicine. In addition, she is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
Dr. Tiffany Jamieson, DVM
Dr. Jamieson attended the University of Florida where she received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 1996. She went on to attend the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2002 with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. Dr. Jamieson is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and current Treasurer of the Central Florida Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Jamieson has three cats and two dogs that she loves very much. Reggie, Luna, Pebbles, Dino, and Lilo bring immense joy to her life. Her hobbies include spending time with her husband, daughter, family and friends.
